I'm considering switching to Hibernate.
Do you use some tools (like an Eclipse plug-in) in particular?
Any advice?

its the main pupose of the hibernate tools to generate code...

i reverse engeneered my database and generated the xml mapping files. you can generate the java code in the same step, but if you have to adapt the mapping files (as is did with xslt...) you can also generate the pojo code from the mapping files with hibernate ant tools (included inthe hibernate tools)...

regards thomas
