Hi all,

One of the marketing buzz of ZK is that it is easier than JSF. How easy it is compared to JSF especially when I am using Richfaces or Icefaces?

Best regards,

Here is a document talk about this. : http://www.potix.com/smalltalks/zkIcefaces/.
I have some other idea here:

1.ZK is designed as a Ajax UI framework, these JSF component set are designed base on "page base JSF" and provide AJAX.

2.ZK support script but JSF not.

3.ZK is event driven, but JSF is action base. You cannot fire your event in life cycle of JSF.

4.OK, base 3, JSF has a very complex life cycle, It is not easy to understand the life cycle of JSF for a general programmer. the cycle of ZK is more easier.

5.It is very easy to write your component in ZK ,extends it and reuse it, it just like write a other zk page. But In JSF, you need to learn more about JSF spec. In an ajax JSF component, you need to learn more other non-JSF spec of that component to extend it.
