Can anyone please tell me the steps that I need to take to use Hibernate in ZK ?

And you could also reference to ZK-DEMO: Hibernate.
Or ZK-SmallTalk have some article talking about this: Hibernate + ZK 、 Hibernate + Spring + ZK.
