EL expressions define the following literals:

Type Description
Boolean true and false
Integer as in Java, such as 123
Floating point as in Java, such as 1.23 and 1e9
String with single and double quotes; " is escaped as \", ' is escaped as \', and \ is escaped as \\.

Example, 'a string' and "hello world"
